ENHANCED SAFETY MEASURES

As all our regular guests know, Sunset Marquis’ focus is always upon providing a warm, welcoming, and unique hospitality experience and we are committed to providing a safe environment for all patrons and our staff.

Whether you arrive for a stay in one of our spacious villas or suites, come to enjoy the fresh air in our peaceful gardens, relax by one of the two pools in our 3.25-acre urban oasis, dine al fresco at Cavatina Restaurant, or to simply grab a drink in BAR 1200, we want you to know what to expect for your visit.

  • Throughout our entire property, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting. Extra attention is given to disinfecting high touch areas and surfaces such as door handles, phones, handrails, tables, chairs, and tableware.
  • Hand sanitizers and alcohol-based disinfectants are available throughout the property and are easily accessible to guests and employees.
  • Signs throughout the property remind guests to wear face masks at all times in hotel public areas.
  • Proper social distancing of 6 feet is encouraged throughout the property.
  • Elevators are not required to access our villas and the stairways are available to use in our low-rise three-story main building.
  • We take the temperature of all guests and employees arriving at the hotel.

FRONT DESK – ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

  • We have implemented reduced contact measures at check-in and check out, including front desk screens, sanitizer stations, sanitized key cards, and paperless checkouts.
  • Pre-registration is available and encouraged.
  • Scheduled check-in times are available as an option for a private meet and greet to avoid the need for front desk interactions.
  • Valet parking is available. Our valet staff changes gloves after each vehicle.
  • Complimentary hand sanitizer and face masks are provided to every guest.

ROOMS 

  • Special attention is given to cleaning and disinfecting high touch surfaces such as handles, doorknobs, and switches
  • New MERV-13 filters have been installed in all AC units and each one only circulates air within an individual guest room; there is no common air supply to the rooms.
  • Housekeeping services are provided upon request in accordance with CDC Guidelines
    • Coffee machines are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to each arrival, whether used by the previous guest or not.  All condiments are pre-packaged separately.

CAVATINA RESTAURANT AND BAR 1200 ARE NOW REOPENED TO THE PUBLIC.

  • Open for Breakfast, Lunch with pool side service
  • In-house & Outside Guests / Reservations required

Cavatina PATIO: 4PM – 10PM

  • Open for Dinner only ( Last seating at 9PM)
  • In-house & Outside Guests / Reservations required
  • Walk In’s contact the F&B Manager on Duty


Main Pool: 11AM till 6PM

  • Open for pool side service ( Inhouse Guests ONLY )


Room Service: 8AM – 9PM

  • Open for Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Friday – Saturday

BAR 1200

  • In accordance with LA county mandates, BAR 1200 services are currently suspended until further notice.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES

Food preparation hygiene protocols are strictly enforced and include separation of personal workspaces for cooks and food handlers. Gloves, masks and face shields are always worn while preparing food and by all our servers.

EMPLOYEES

  • Employees receive ongoing communications and updates on sanitization protocols and training to ensure maintenance of the highest standards for health and hygiene.
  • Detailed protocols are in place for each department and compliance checks are performed periodically throughout each day.
  • At the start of each day, we conduct a health survey and take the temperature of each employee.
  • All employees are required to wear masks, maintain appropriate social distancing, and wash their hands regularly throughout the day.

GUESTS

  • Protocols are in place for assisting guests who may feel ill for any reason.
  • Per CDC guidelines and mandates by local and state authorities, all guests are required to wear facemasks covering their nose and mouth at all times while in public areas.

POOLS

  • Pool areas are prioritized for use by registered guests. Due to limited seating restrictions, we may not be able to accommodate outside visitors. Please consult the front desk for daily notice on capacity restrictions.

SPA

  • In accordance with LA county mandates, SPA services are currently suspended until further notice.

PETS

  • We are presently unable to allow pets on site, but we look forward to welcoming them in the future when it is safe to do so. Only service dogs will be allowed on property until further notice.
