Chef Guillaume Burlion
The Sunset Marquis is honored to introduce Guillaume Burlion as the hotel's Executive Chef. Chef Burlion's illustrious career began in his native France, where he worked with such culinary superstars as Paul Bocuse and Joel Rubuchon in Michelin-starred restaurants including Hotel de Crillon, Le Pre Catalan and the world-renowned Maxim's. He went on to study under some of the greatest culinary masters in Japan, where he sowed the seeds of his signature style: light, fresh Asian flavours prepared with classical French techniques and flair.
Since then, he's run 5-star/5-diamond rated kitchens, garnered more than a fistful of awards for culinary excellence, prepared dinners for presidents, and indulged countless movie idols and rock stars with his unique brand of French fusion.
